Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Seasonal Porches, every porch design is custom-planned, sourced, and installed specifically for your home. Because our services involve perishable materials, custom design work, and scheduled field labor, our return and cancellation policies differ from standard retail purchases.
We appreciate your understanding and support of our small business.

1. Seasonal Install Packages (One-Time Purchases)

Cancellations Before Installation

  • Cancellations made 7+ days before your scheduled install:
    Full refund, minus any custom-ordered materials already purchased.

  • Cancellations made 3–6 days before installation:
    A 50% refund may be issued, depending on materials already purchased.

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of installation:
    Non-refundable, due to labor scheduling and perishable materials.

Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling is free if made 72+ hours in advance.

  • Rescheduling within 72 hours may incur a small fee depending on crew availability.

Returns After Installation

Because installations involve live plants, fresh or natural materials, and custom arrangements:

  • All sales are final after installation.

  • We cannot accept returns of plants, décor, arrangements, or installed materials.

  • If an item arrives damaged or unusable, we will replace or repair it at no cost.

2. Subscription Plans (Seasonal or Annual)

Subscription Payments

Subscriptions are billed either:

  • Monthly (recurring), or

  • Annually (pay-in-full)

Payment covers:

  • Seasonal installations

  • Design time

  • Material allocation

  • Scheduling priority

  • Internal “credit” accrual used toward services

Cancellations

  • You may cancel a subscription at any time, but:

    • Unused credits do not convert to cash value, and

    • Completed or scheduled installs within the plan year cannot be refunded.

If you cancel after using more services than the value of payments made to date, the remaining balance for those services will be charged upon cancellation.

Pausing Subscriptions

You may pause once per calendar year for up to 3 months, but seasonal installs that occur during the pause may be unavailable or reduced unless additional credits/payments are made.

Subscription Refunds

Because materials are allocated and crews are scheduled each season:

  • Subscription payments (monthly or annual) are non-refundable once charged.

3. Gifted Packages & Gifted Subscriptions

Gift purchases are welcome.
Because installations and materials are prepared for the recipient:

  • Gift purchases are non-refundable after 7 days from purchase, or once the recipient schedules an installation (whichever comes first).

  • Gift credits do not convert to cash.

4. Material Variations & Plant Guarantee

Natural Variations

Plants, pumpkins, branches, evergreens, and natural décor vary in color, shape, and availability. Substitutions of equal or greater value may be made if needed.

Plant Guarantee

We guarantee all plants and natural materials at installation.
We do not guarantee plant survival after installation due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Watering habits

  • Pests or wildlife

  • Property-specific growing conditions

If a plant appears defective at installation, we will replace it immediately at no cost.

5. Weather & Seasonal Adjustments

Because our services are weather-dependent:

  • Install dates may shift to protect the quality of your plants and materials.

  • If extreme weather prevents installation, we will reschedule at the earliest safe date.

Refunds are not provided due to weather delays.

6. Service Area Policy

If a client books a package outside of our service area:

  • We will contact the client within 48 hours.

  • The order will be canceled and refunded if service cannot be provided.

7. Failed Installations (Client Not Home / Unsafe Conditions)

If our team arrives and cannot safely install due to:

  • Blocked access

  • Locked gate/entry

  • Aggressive pets

  • Unsafe conditions

  • Incorrect address

A $50 rescheduling fee may apply.

8. Modification of Designs

We do our best to accommodate preferences.
However, after materials are purchased:

  • Major design changes may require new pricing

  • Materials already purchased may not be refundable
